Jim has been at the center of the founding or development of numerous ministries in Greater Birmingham including Her Choice Birmingham Women's Center–C.P.C. and the Grace House Christian Home for Girls. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kean University, N. J., and a Masters of Divinity Degree from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry, Ambridge, Pennsylvania. He and his wife Joy are blessed with four children and fifteen grandchildren. The Pintos live in Fairfield, AL and are members of the Cathedral of St. Paul, Birmingham, AL.

Both are converts to Catholicism; in fact, Jim is a former Protestant Minister. They both are associated with a pregnancy crisis center in Birmingham, AL. Jim is also the Director of EWTN Media Missionaries.

Jim Pinto joined the EWTN Media Missionary family in 2012. He brings his considerable talents to the EWTN Media Missionaries to help further our mission.

He calls for Co-Mission, that is, to collaborate with other groups to bring the Good News to all the world with the assistance of the largest Global Catholic Network which airs 24/7/365 via TV, Radio, Online, and print.

He has also been the host of our popular Media Missionary E-news videos that are out monthly. In addition, Jim and his wife Joy, host the popular EWTN Radio series, "At Home with Jim and Joy".

Following 52 minute episode of the weekly TV program, At Home With Jim and Joy features Blythe Kaufman, founder of Children's Rosary program which appears weekly as Rosary for Kids on EWTN and is becoming a worldwide movement in multiple languages as seen www.childrensrosary.org and www.childrensrosary.blogspot.com

Blythe Kaufman, a and discovered during her first pregnancy, at the age of 30, she had a genetic condition that after her baby was born, Blythe would likely have issues with her body joints that would prohibit her from continuing a dentistry career.

The result was a calling that would put her on a path to founding a Children's Rosary program at her Catholic Church which has grown into a worldwide movement that is heartwarming and of tremendous value to children and families in the present culture.

Her story is shared with us through her appearance on the EWTN, call-in program, "Live At Home With Jim and Joy" which airs multiple times each week. The Jim & Joy program focuses on Marriage, Family, Life.
